The cigarette factory was founded in 1919. At one time, it was renowned alongside the Shanghai and Tianjin cigarette factories as the “Shangqingtian,” holding an important position in the history of China’s tobacco industry. Today, the Qingdao Cigarette Factory has grown into a major enterprise with an annual production capacity exceeding one million cartons—the largest cigarette factory in northern China. It is a key backbone enterprise in China’s tobacco industry and a state-owned enterprise designated as a priority by the State Council.

　　The Qingdao Cigarette Factory is also Tianxing Enterprise’s first large-scale technical renovation project in the cigarette industry, with an investment exceeding 10 million yuan. The project includes a total of 28 modular air-conditioning units and has a contract value of 13.888 million yuan. This project marks the beginning of a new era for Tianxing Enterprise, enabling it to significantly expand its market share in the cigarette industry.
